Inspired by the tranquillity of a day spa and based on the principles of science-based functional movement, Active Being aims to provide the community with a hub to connect with movement, body and mind.
Ran by a team of inspired and passionate health specialists, our focus is to identify what’s holding you back and correct it. We believe in the power of an integrated approach, where you will benefit from a range of ways to improve your health under one roof. We like to think of ourselves as a wellness compass, curiously questioning and learning about each client, before undertaking an extensive evaluation of your health, then pointing you in the right direction, equipped with the knowledge to ultimately allow you to understand a deeper sense of yourself and achieve your health and wellbeing goals.
We believe that conscious movement in all forms will help you better understand your own health and movement patterns, that’s why Active Being has an emphasis on preventative health. We aim to promote a positive relationship with exercise and nutrition and to get you fit and moving well with Clinical Pilates, Functional Movement and Myotherapy.
Our objective is to help you to achieve optimal health and performance without burning out or getting injured.
Community is important to us and is what we consider to be the reason for our work. We want to help the local community to be more active, pain free and motivated. We have aligned with a number of local organisations in order to support and give back where we can.
